Dear Supporters and Friends,
Thank you for your incredible support throughout the years, together we have raised nearly $8,000 for Shriners Hospitals for Children®, and helped us to collect over 5 tons of pull tabs to raise money to transport patients to Shriners Hospitals both of which will give countless children a second chance. Thanks to your generous support, we also have had a large impact here in the local region as well. We have collected hundreds of teddy bears to give to children involved in traumatic incidents, hundreds of Campbell Soup® Labels, and Box Tops for Education©, Eye glasses and hearing aids for Lions International© to help those less fortunate, U.S. Flags to be bee properly retired by local Boy Scout Troops, and provided community service opportunities for families and youth groups. We were also featured on National Television, select theaters, and internet streaming in the documentary The American Scream. None of this would have been possible without all of you and for that, I am forever grateful to all of you that supported our efforts to bring our community together to help children.
I am sad to say that for now at least our journey together of sharing screams, shrieks, cries, and laughs to help kids has come to an end. As may have heard by now, my father recently passed away after an incredibly courageous battle with cancer. This means that I will be forced to sell off our Haunted House assets as well as the place we called home for the last 18 years. This is a very difficult time for me as you can imagine, but thankfully, I have my family and a great group of friends to help me get through this, and I would be remiss if I didn’t take this opportunity to thank them as well.
Perhaps someday down the road, our paths will cross again, and I will be able to make a triumphant return bigger and better than before. I would ask you to continue to Support Shriners Hospitals for Children financially and to get involved in your community as a volunteer in his memory. Thank you again to everyone that has helped us throughout this incredible journey and until we see each other again, I offer you my best wishes.
